由于企業在運行當中的遭遇的壓力與困難，鋼廠可以考慮在不違背行業關于鐵礦石進口原則的基礎下，與三大礦山公司進行接觸，并按照統一價格進行鐵礦石采購，在進口鐵礦石之后，再與其進行結算。羅冰生的這一表態意味著今年鐵礦石價格談判已經結束，同時也表示中鋼協放棄了在此前一直強調的“這中鋼協的組織協調下統一行動”的原則。
